I’ll Just Live As A Villain - Chapter 28
The man who drove the huge dust away was not an ordinary man.
He is short, sturdy, and has a long mustache.
“Dwarf?”
It was a dwarf that I wanted to find so much.1
But the situation was completely different from what I drawn.
The dwarf was gasping for breath as he stared at me with his sullen eyes.
“Have you pulled out Jupiter, human child?”
The dwarf asked, grating his teeth. He had a huge hammer in his hand.
I gulped my saliva over the threatening situation. But I pretended I didn’t feel any pressure.
“Yes, I did.”
“Then the one in your hand…”
“It’s Jupiter.”
The dwarf opened his eyes wide. There was a close distance between us and he drew nearer to me with a heavy step.
[Harry! Where are you? Harry!]
I called Harry in a hurry. But there was no answer back.1
While I was nervously calling Harry, the dwarf was coming right in front of me.
I saw the dwarf breathing hard in front of me and my shoulders tightened.
“You…”
The dwarf grimly called me and threw the giant hammer on the floor.
The hammer fell off with a loud noise.
‘I can’t believe he was holding that heavy hammer lightly like a feather.’
The real weapon of that dwarf was not a hammer, but his fist.
‘So you’re gonna beat me up with your fist?’
I can’t believe a weak human like you pulled out the Holy Sword! I’ll kill you and I’ll have the Holy Sword!
The dwarf’s eyes seemed to say so.
His fist was as large as the size of a child’s head.
‘If I got hit by that punch, I would be dead.’
I called Harry with all my strength as I closed my eyes.
“Harry!”
At the same time my cry rang in the mountain, the dwarf reach out his big hands to me…
“Huh?”
The dwarf hugged me. No matter how many times I rolled my eyes, nothing changed.
‘What is this situation?’
The dwarf ran and jump all over the place holding me, who could not grasp the situation.
“Finally, a human who had pulled out the Jupiter appeared! Finally!”
Harry appeared from a distance away from me as my hand was been swaying back and forth by the dwarf.1
“Why don’t you stop?”
“Harry!”
When I met a certain ally in such a situation, I was glad to see him.
But that was only for a moment.
He said he would come straight away, but he did not come to my call several times, and now he appeared late.
“You said you’d come as soon as I called you!”
I screamed in rage and the dwarf, who was holding my hand, let me go in surprise.1
“Oh, you’re more angrier than I thought.”
Whether Harry is pretending to listen or not, The dwarf looked and asked him.
“This is the person you were talking about, isn’t it?”
Harry nodded at the dwarf’s question. The two seemed to know each other already.
“What happened?”
I asked Harry about the situation.
“I found the village of dwarfs from above. As soon as we met, they strike to fight me as soon as I met them…”
Harry looked at the dwarf, blurring his words. Then the dwarf naturally followed Harry’s words.
“In the middle of the fight, there was a sudden reaction from Jupiter’s sword. It only wakes up when the sword is pulled out. So I ran right away here because I knew the master of the Holy Sword has appeared!”
When the dwarf’s words was finished, an awful lot of dwarfs came to the scene. Their shining eyes were all directed at me.1
‘Totally burdensome.’
Then, Harry stood in front of me. My vision was full of Harry’s broad back.
[Did you sign a contract with that demon? How come the master of the holy sword is with the demon……!]
[Hey, Holy Sword. You have to keep your pecking order. I’m ahead, you’re behind. The demon’s master drew the holy sword, because the holy sword’s master didn’t sign a contract with the demon!]1
Harry retorted coldly and told the dwarfs.
“What are you going to do with all this rush? Are you going to steal the Holy Sword?”
I was nervous and watched the dwarfs. If they were going to, I was just going to hand over the Holy Sword.
‘I don’t need it anyway.’
But the dwarfs did not want the Holy Sword.
“What do you mean? The Holy Sword can only be used by its master. It does not respond to us.”
“Then why did you come all this way?”
“That’s…”
The dwarfs, who hold their breath for a moment, shouted at once.
“Please let us fix that sword!”
**
I and Harry was ushered to the dwarf village.
The village was generally low in height. It seemed that it was because it was a village of short dwarfs.
Thanks to that, the tall Harry had to stoop and bend down.
“Why don’t you just turn into a dog if it’s uncomfortable?”
“If I turn into a dog, there will be a limit on my power that I can use. I’d better stay in my main body in case anything happens.”
“Well, I don’t think anything particularly bad is going to happen.”
I shrugged my shoulders as I looked at the food in front of us.
All the dwarfs treated us with friendly faces. Delicious food, sweet drinks, and cheerful music.
The head of the village of dwarfs, who hosted the feast, introduced himself as Nuan.
“We’ve built a village here and have been guarding the Holy Sword for a long time. The man who made the sword is also our ancestor.”
This is what he said.
“The Holy Sword, Jupiter, is the best masterpiece of our kind. I devoted myself to the sword and put it on the edge of the fog mountain so that only qualified people could use it. Many people came to see after hearing the rumors about the Holy Sword, but they all failed.”
Nuan looked at the Holy Sword with dim eyes, as if recalling the distant past.
“The wind blew, the rain poured and the snow fell over time. The Holy Sword gradually faded away as the years passed by. Our kind wouldn’t want to see our masterpiece to become ruined.”
Nuan shook his head vigorously, reflecting on his feelings of that time.
“We were about to take the sword back. Then we had to pulled out the holy sword. But funnily, Jupiter didn’t even recognize our kind as the master of the holy sword. That’s why we’ve been waiting. Until someone pulls out the sword.”
Nuan, whose story was unraveled, looked at me with eager eyes.
“So, master of the Holy Sword. Would you please leave the holy sword in our hands? We’re going to make the first masterpiece of our clan at it’s best state.”
I lowered my head and looked at the holy sword.
A sword marked by years of time.
It was clear that repairs were needed.
If the dwarfs hadn’t begged so badly, I would have asked for repairs first.
But I could use that to my advantage.
“Okay.”
I nodded my head. Nuan’s face brightened at my answer.
“I have one condition instead.”
“If it’s a condition…”
“I need a good blacksmith. I’d like to hire one of the best blacksmiths here. I’ll leave the repairs to him.”
My words started to stir up the dwarfs. Nuan asked me as he glanced at the chatterboxes.
“Will you take the hired blacksmith to the village of human?”
“I supposed so.”
The dwarfs’ disturbance grew.
“It’s a chance to touch the Holy Sword.”
“But we have to go to the human village!”
“Humans can’t be trusted.”
“But the Holy Sword chose a human being.”
Countless voices mingled.
It was their chief Nuan who settled the confusion.
“Be quiet!”
The noisy space in place quickly quieted down. It was the evidence that he was a great leader who took control of the village.
“I hire Rapashe.”
“Father!”
As soon as Nuan’s words ended, a voice filled with discontent popped out.
A woman dwarf, whose scarlet hair was neatly tied, came to the front. Perhaps she was Rapashe.
“I want to stay here. I don’t need the glory to touch the Holy Sword.”
“But you are the best in our kind. The best blacksmith in our clan should touch the holy sword.”
“But…”
“Rapashe, it’s the chief’s order.”
On Nuan’s words, Rafashe bit her lips. She stormed out of the dinner room with tearful face.
“I don’t want to take someone who don’t want to.”
Efficiency emerges only when one has to work comfortably.
If I forcibly take her, It will only be trouble.
“She’s never been out of the village before so she’s just afraid. She can adapt fast, so she’ll get used to it soon.”
Nuan smiled softly.
“More than anything else, there’s no better blacksmith in this village that is better than Rafashe. If you take her, she’ll create anything.”
“Then is this possible?”
I took a book from my bag and handed it to Nuan. He looked a little puzzled when he received it.
“This is very simple. If this is why you need a blacksmith, you could have searched for a human blacksmith. “
“Yes, but I want to put this type of armor on the Wyverns. I’d like to have a saddle and a stirrup on top of it.”
Nuan’s eyes widened at my explanation.
“Are you going to put a human on the back of Wyvern?”
“Yes.”
“But the Wyverns are too fierce to pick up people. “
“I’ve already came here by riding the Wyverns.”
“What?”
Nuan’s eyes, which had already grown bigger, opened wider.
“You’re also the master of the Holy Sword. You are extraordinary in many ways.”3
Nuan’s eyes was on Harry when he said so.
Harry’s ability was the most powerful out of all the extraordinary beings I’ve gained.
“I’ll let Rafashe know what she’s going to make. If she heard about this, Rafashe will surely want to follow the master of the holy sword.
Nuan bragged.
***
After a long conversation with Nuan, Rapashe had swollen eyes. However, her expression was quite strong.
“I’ll say greetings to you in a formal manner. I’m Rapashe. They usually call me Rish.”1
“Rish.”
When I called her name for confirmation, Rafashe slightly bowed.
“I’m Yvesria Oberon. You can call me Yvesria. “
“You’re a noble. Should I call you Yvesria?”
“I can’t impose human class on dwarfs. It’s okay with just Yvesria. “1
“Then, without hesitation, Yvesria.”
Rafashe reached out her hands to shake hands.
I smiled and held her hand together.
“My father told me what I was going to do. To be honest with you, I’m very excited. No blacksmith in the world has ever made an armor for the Wyverns.”
Rafashe spoke with a thrilled face. The voice alone made me feel her excitement.
“I’d love to go to Erell right now, but the Holy Sword can only be fixed here, the place where the first Holy Sword was made. If it wasn’t here, it wouldn’t contain energy. If you give me the sword, I’ll repair it and then go to Erell.”
“How long will it take?”
“It will only take a little time to repair the Holy Sword. But it’s going to take a lot of time to travel to Erell.”
“I’m not worried about that. If you send a letter to us, I’ll send a Wyvern. Just get on it, Rish.”2
“Wyverns?”
Rafashe opened her eyes wide and her face had flushed red.
“That’s great. It’s going to be the greatest adventure of my life.”
***
As soon as I got out of the village, the sunset already glowed red.
Early in the morning, I had spent a great deal of time here.
Still, the harvest was substantial.
“I didn’t expect this to happen in a day.”1
I thought I’d have to come here at least a couple of times.
But luckily, on the first day, I was able to find the village of dwarfs right away.
‘And then I got the Holy Sword. ‘
I couldn’t handle a sword so I’m not impressed, but it was the Holy Sword anyway.
‘If I have it, I’ll have to use it someday. ‘
“I can’t believe I pulled out the Holy Sword. You said it couldn’t be pulled out by that idiot. He’s the one who founded the country, so how come the Holy Sword was picked by someone like me?”2
While walking side by side to return to the Wyverns, Harry remained silent.
I felt embarrassed when I kept talking to myself.
“Why aren’t you saying anything?”
“Not fair.”
Harry’s mouth blurted out an answer that had nothing to do with my question.
“What’s unfair?”
“Your name!”1
“What’s with my name?”
“You didn’t ask me to call you by your name!”3
Harry’s cry puzzled me.
“You can just call me by my name.”
“What?”
“Why? You don’t know my name?”
“…I know.”
“Tell me.”
“…Yvesria Oberon.”
I shrugged at the easy answer.
“Look, it’s easy, isn’t it?”
Harry had a blank look on his face.1
I opened my mouth wide and shook my head, looking at him stupidly.
“I don’t know why you didn’t call me by my name when you did whatever you wanted.”1
I passed the stiffened Harry and headed for where the Wyvern was waiting. Soon, Harry came to his senses and quickly followed me.1
“Yvesria.”
“Yes, Harry.”
Harry laughed even though we only exchanged our names once.
